Communication

The human ability to communicate with each other - be it in person, on the phone, over social media and so on - is what leads to shared stories, inspiration and motivation, movements and revolutions. Every day there are more people on the world and more connections between us all - there is huge power in leveraging this if you can communicate well with them.
Just one exercise a day can make a difference to your child's development. Each of the coaching cards below takes no more than five minutes and requires zero preparation.

Easy
Guidance
Tell your child to imagine they met an alien who had never seen a Car before.
Prompts if stuck
1) What is the car is used for?

Guidance

Tell your child to imagine they met an alien who had never seen a Car before. In just 1 minute they need to explain what it is, how it works, what it is used for….and anything else you think is relevant. This is a test of conciseness and can be repeated for any other object that is "obvious" to your child, but might be "alien" to a newcomer. To make it harder, ban the use of "ums" and "errs"!

Prompts if stuck

1) We drive around in cars. Why is this?

2) What do Cars look like?

3) How do they make you feel?
